Soi 22 Sukhumvit Road is located half way between Asok BTS (Terminal 21) and Phrom Phong BTS (The Emporium Mall). This is a long streatching Soi. Starting from Sukhumvit Road until almost Rama 4 Road.

Sukhumvit soi 22 offers a wide ranging variety of hotels. From budget couple hundred bhat a night, to luxury 5 star resorts.

This street is littered with massage shops. Every third of fourth shop is a massage shop. There is even a small alley way. Opposite the Marvel Hotel Bangkok that is exclusively massage shops.

You will never have any problems finding something to eat here. Street food, 7 eleven, Family Mart, Cheap Restaurants, Mid range and High end Restaurants can all be found on Soi 22.

Street Food

Street Food is fairly easy to come across here, just as everything else of any interest on this Soi. Food carts can be found hovering around between Sukhumvit Road and Soi Sai Nam Thip 1.

Som Thum, Grilled Chicken etc are pretty easy to find here. There is also a nice collection of fixed street restaurants and Thai style indoor restaurants scattered around.

There was a small kitchen stationed outside the something mansion.. Where fresh meat and rice dishes could be had for around ฿35B (The menu is however in 100% Thai)

There was a lady across the road that cooked Padgrapow with a fried egg for ฿40B and the ploystirine bowl was lined with bamboo leaf instead of plastic.

Of the 10 or so Iced Coffee, Iced Tea (Orange)(Green) from around 3 different vendors the price was ฿20

Very good value for money Street Food

First alley on the left had a meat and rice dish for only ฿30

There is a concentration of small bars located towards the Sukhumvit Road end along the  west side of Soi 22. But as the sun goes down there seems to be more mobile bars just poping up aroud the Sukhumvit Road side of the Soi.
