Had no superior rooms available so was upgraded to the deluxe
asked for passport and copied it looked for departure slip but was not fussed without it.
Front desk service staff here were outstanding always put the customer first. This is a busy hotel and the staff really go out of their way to assist you. Truly a rare occurrence for hotels in this area.
Update: As of 2018 the exterior has been painted and is now more of a blue color.

Internet Summary:
WiFi Internet is available in every room.
Easy to use and decent speed. To obtain access just needed to enter a
username of “Siam + Room number” and the same for the password.
No complicated portals and authentication and restriction like other hotels.
House Keeping:
No problems here, everything just as you would expect. Bed made, water replenished, floor cleaned etc, etc.

The Sawasdee Siam hotel is located in Central Pattaya the corner of Pattayasai Soi 11 and the well known Soi Buakhaw. It’s just a 10 Minute walk to the beach and 15 minute walking to Walking Street.
All 206 Rooms are equipped with Air-conditioning , private bathroom , hair dryer , LED TV , and safety deposit box .
The rooms are designed with Thai colony style deco.
Rooms range is space from 25-40 Sq. meters and offer Queen, King or Twin Beds. Cot or extra beds are also available at an extra charge.
The Swimming pool is located ground level right in front of the hotel and also has a cocktail bar .
Reception is open 24 hours and the staff are super friendly.
The hotel provides beach towel and free transfer from the hotel to the beach by Tuk Tuk tricycle car.
There is an in-house restaurant Silk Bar and is open from 7 am until 10 pm and serves up Thai & International cuisine. For breakfast they offer a buffet that serves a variety of Asian, Thai and Continental.
