Osprey Talon Ultralight 44 s/m Hiking Rucksack 1.1kg
Colors
The Osprey Talon 44 comes in two colors
- Black
- Blue
Dual Entry
Have you ever done a careful job of neatly packing your bag only to realise that the item you need right now is located at the very bottom. With the Talon 44 this is no longer a problem. Simply open it up from the bottom this dual entry feature has saved me many times on my travel and eliminated a lot of repacking time.
Everything is Adjustable
Every strap on the Talon 44 is adjustable and it has many. You are able to customise each buckle until it fits exactly the way you like it.
Sleeping Bag Holder
On the lower back part of the bag there is the ability to carry a sleeping bag or a rolled up sleeping mat.
Aluminum Frame
If you have ever tightly packed a bag, then tried carrying it on your back and had the items sticking into you back or the bag being lopsided you will know what I mean. This issue is also solved with the Aluminium Frame it keeps the bag upright and keeps it feeling comfortable on your back preventing anything from inside the bag poking into your back
Trekking Pole Holder
This is a handy feature although I personally do not use trekking poles, I have found some other uses for the holder.
Weight
I have noticed the low cost airlines are really becoming stingy with the luggage limitstake a look at these excerpts
- AirAsia “Each guest is allowed one piece of cabin baggage AND 1 laptop bag OR 1 handbag on-board. The main cabin baggage shall not exceed 56cm x 36cm x 23cm and does not weigh more than 7kg. This baggage should also be able to fit under the seat in front of you or the overhead compartment.”
- “Jetstar’s current carry-on baggage restrictions for all Economy Starter, Starter Plus and Starter Max passengers is one main item (56cm height x 36 cm width x 23 cm dimension) and one other small item, with a total combined weight of up to
10kg.Sep 4, 2014Update April 2016 it is not only 7kg
This Osprey bag satisfies all those requirements easily.
This is by far the lightest bag I own that is of this size. The difference between the two options in my opinion is too small to be significant 40 Grams. You would have a hard time telling the difference between the two.
- Small 1.05Kg(42 L)
- Large 1.09Kg(44 L)
