Almost always the chosen method of transportation domestically within Thailand has been by bus.
This time was different, time was short and the budget was not so tight. Flight was the chosen mode of transport and Bangkok Airways the airline.

Total fare was ฿1,490 Bhat, purchased roughly two months in advanced for an October flight.

How Long did it Take?

1 Hour and 25 minutes.
The flight departed Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport BKK at 9:21 am and arrived in Krabi at 10:50 am

The Bangkok Air Experience

The experience was very pleasant. Check in was very easy, the girl very polite. There was no checked luggage and the check in girl did not bother being petty asking to weigh the backpack. The gate is towards you right enjoy your flight.

The journey took place in a medium sized aircraft, the Airbus A320 Jet. They even served a snack. Picture below is of Gluten Free Meal purchased at an extra cost.

If you are ever faced with a choice between Air Asia or Bangkok Air, you really can not go wrong with Bangkok Air.

Bangkok Air at the time of writing this guide is operating six to eight flights per day . Every couple of hours from 9am to around 9am.

Getting from Bangkok to Krabi on this occasion was very simple and fast.  On arriving in Krabi there was a feeling of being fresh and ready to take on the day. Previously  travelling from Bangkok to Krabi was done via a slow long and uncomfortable but cheaper bus trip.

How to get from Bangkok to Krabi the fast and simple way by airplane. Recommended for any time where time is limited and the budget is not too tight.
