Getting to the Airport by Bus
Update:
Skybus now has free WiFi on-board. In comparison to other countries this.
“Free WiFi” is most disappointing.
First they do not respect your privacy and request for personal information.
Secondly the amount of download offered is minuscule.
There is a huge room for improvement here.
Getting to Melbourne Airport or vice versa is not cheap it is however fairly easy.
A one way trip takes approximately 20 minutes, obviously depending on traffic conditions peak hour will take longer.
First make your way down to Southern Cross Station
click here for Melbourne’s public transport website.
Arriving at Southern Cross Station By Tram
If you are coming in by Tram get off at Tram stop
- #1 (corner of Bourke Street and Spencer Street)
Or - #112 (Spencer Street and Little Collins Streets)
Make your way down into the entrance located between Pie Face and Hungry Jacks and turn right. There is plenty of signage there to guide you through.
Next most likely you will see a red colored Skybus waiting as pictured below.
There is no reason to rush as there is another bus every 10 minutes.
