Welcome to Udon Thani Thailand
Udon Thani Thai: อุดรธานี, is one of the four major cities (Khorat, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, and Khon Kaen) of the Isan region, Thailand, (known as the “big four of Isan”). It is the capital of Udon Thani Province.
Have been wanting to explore Udon Thani for a good few many years now. Ever since briefly stopping at the bus station to drop off a traveler. Looking out the window on the way to Chiang Mai from Laos. Udon Thani was busseling, the city looked big and busy. I just knew one day I will be back to take a close look.
Udon Thani Night Market:
The night market is located on Prajak Sillapakom Road. It has many many food stalls and opens at around 5PM.

Udon Thani has 3 large shopping malls.

- Landmark Plaza also has a cinema
- The Shopping Mall. Opened in 2009. An open air 38,000 m² (24 rai) park, possibly the largest in Thailand probably even bigger then Chatuchak weekend market in Bangkok.
