Kanchanaburi  Travel Guide

Accommodation:

Based on my May stay accommodations are cheap and plentiful.
I thought I struck it lucky finding a ฿250 fan room. Just crossing the street later that same day I found a room for ฿200. A walk later that night and found a sign for a ฿100 room!!!!

Markets:

Daily night market next to the train station

Transportation:

Bicycle and motorbike rental shops are plentiful
Bicycles are about ฿50 for one day and motorbikes ฿200 for one day. They can be found along Maenamkwai Road.

Nightlife:

There are a fair few bars etc scattered around along Maenamkwai Road

Attractions:

• Jeath War Museum
• Death Railway
• Kanchanaburi War Cemetery

Destinations from Kanchanaburi:

• Hua Hin by minivan

Reverse Destinations

• Bangkok to Kanchanaburi by Bus. Cheap and easy way to get yourself to Kanchanaburi from Bangkok
