After taking a look at the Laundry Service offered by the Green Palace Hotel costing ฿90 Bhat per KG. It was decided to take an exploratory walk to try and find a better deal.
First Laundry Shop
Soi 11 Nimman Haeminda Road
It did not take long until this laundry Chiang Mai was found. A very nice Thai lady explained that the clothes will we washed and ready by noon the following day. This is pretty standard. She also gave a warning that the shop closes at 8PM so if you require your clothes come before 8PM otherwise you will have to pick it up the next day.
Second Laundry Shop
Soi 09 Nimman Haeminda Road
100 Bhat a KG. This is far too pricey. Looks like this shop like to take advantage of foreigners and bump up the price. It is recommended to skip this shop and go straight to the previous laundry shop and get it done for half the price.
Laundry In Thailand
It is amazing the price swing that can be found in Thailand even when it comes to doing your laundry in Chiang Mai.
Never do it at your hotel.
They most likely just outsource it to the laundry down the street and make up the price. Take a walk and use the laundry directly.
Never do it at a place that charges per the item.
They will be using a washing machine and it is not like it is more work to wash many small items versus one big item. Per item should be a red flag and avoid unless you are very desperate.
If You Have Time
If there was more time there is no doubt a laundry that will do it for ฿30 Bhat can be found.

Thanks for the tips. I tried the spots that you mentioned, but I ended up settling on having a service do it for me, they pick it up and deliver and it only costs 50 baht per kg.
