Bangkok to Hua Hin Bus From Southern Bus Terminal
Bangkok to Hua Hin Bus From Southern Bus Terminal.
Recently travelled from Bang Sean, Chonburi to Bangkok. With the intention of continuing onto Hua Hin.
However……
Upon arriving at Ekamai (Eastern Bus Terminal) was annoyingly surprised there were no busses to Hua Hin!
No problem will just head on over to Victory Monument and get a Minivan like last time.
No! They no longer operate from there.
Even a local travel agency in Pratunam markets area, with a sign outside saying “Hua Hin” no longer offers transport from Bangkok to Hua Hin.
Solution the Southern Southern Bus Station.

Bangkok to Hua Hin Minibus:
Inadvertently discovered there is also an area with minivans that service similar areas as the big buses do. However a ticket to use the big bus had already been purchased at this stage.
If you are after a minivan just head straight out onto the platforms, the minivan tickets are sold right on the platform where the Vans arrive and depart. The Bangkok to Hua Hin Van can be found right here.
The Service
When boarding the bus was told to leave bigger bag on the front seat. The large area that once housed a CRT TV and VCR was hollow and empty. No water or snacks were provided. These was an on board toilet.
Bangkok to Hua Hin Bus From Southern Bus Terminal (SC Plaza) is the way to go if you are after a big bus more room etc. However if you are just after a mini van there is apparently a Bangkok to Hua Hin van service operating out of the Northern Terminal (Mo Chit)
