This stay (October) at Baan Din Ki was significantly less expensive than last time (April) at only ฿594 Bhat.

Everything was pretty much exactly the same as last time except a mirror image of the previous room.

Location:

Located just outside the north west edge of the old city, and situated onsite within the Kad Suan shopping center. As it is available online via Agoda this hotel is regularly booked as the first nights stay and then another hotel is found by walking around.

Sometimes if not in the mood to explore just staying here is also very easily done.

This is a great hotel to begin you stay in Chiang Mai, the location is well known and it is within walking distance of the Maya Mall, Nimmanhaemin Rd and Chiang Mai University.
